Absolutely a great place for medical care. Fast paced office with no wait time. It is like being at a hospital emergency room without the high priced bill or the unreal time to be seen by a doctor.

I’ve been suffering from allergies for the last several weeks and nothing that has worked in the past has worked this time. As a last resort I went to Advanced Medical Care a few days ago. The staff was great and Dr. Sanchez actually took the time to talk to me and understand what my problem was and what had, and had not worked so far. He even helped me find a way to save money on my prescription. After a couple days of taking my new prescription and doing a few other things Dr Sanchez suggested I’m feeling better than I have in a long time. I’ll definitely use Advanced Medical Care again, but this time I won’t wait so long.

Meet our team

Every team member has extensive training and experience delivering all levels of care in a professional setting and comes from a background in Emergency Department care. Our staff all have ties to the local NC community and are dedicated to serving its citizens.

  • Dr. Iván Sánchez

    Physician

    Dr. Sanchez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and completed medical school at the University of Michigan. Dr. Sanchez then completed the Emergency Medicine residency program at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. Sanchez has served as EMS Medical Director in Cleveland County for over 15 years and has practiced as an Emergency Room Physician for more than 25 years. Dr. Sanchez speaks both English and Spanish and helps to serve the Hispanic community.

    Physician

    Dr. Hughlett was born in Wichita Falls, TX, and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Dr. Hughlett then completed the Emergency Medicine residency program at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, and has since practiced as an Emergency Room Physician in NC for more than 25 years.
